Support & Opportunities

Pursuing medical school as a nontraditional student with a long career in public service brings both experience and financial reality. While I have planned carefully and made significant personal and family sacrifices, the cost of medical education; the tuition, fees, relocation, and living expenses remains substantial. As such, I am actively exploring a broad range of funding opportunities and support pathways to help make this journey sustainable.

Support does not have to take a single form. I am open to financial sponsorships, scholarships, grants, educational stipends, institutional or organizational partnerships, and mission-aligned sponsorships. I am equally grateful for non-financial support, including introductions, mentorship, leads on funding opportunities, or guidance toward programs that support medical education, veterans, first responders, or rural and underserved healthcare initiatives.

My background in emergency medicine, disaster response, global medical operations, teaching, and systems-level analysis reflects a lifelong commitment to service. My goal in medical training is to continue that service as a physician. Particularly in settings where access, preparedness, and system resilience matter most. Support provided at this stage is not simply an investment in education, but in a future physician committed to patient care, community service, and meaningful impact.

If you or your organization are aware of opportunities, both formal or informal, that align with this mission, I would welcome the conversation. This includes scholarships, sponsorship arrangements, philanthropic support, employer- or hospital-based programs, research funding opportunities, or connections to individuals and institutions interested in supporting medical education and service-oriented careers.

Thank you for taking the time to review this journey and for considering any way you might support, advise, or connect. Even a brief introduction or suggestion can make a meaningful difference. Thank you! - Aaron Kreag
