I am a degreed, Nationally Registered Paramedic, credentialled in both flight and critical care, as well as a disabled Army Combat Medic veteran with decades of experience working inside high-consequence systems such as emergency medicine, military, remote and austere medicine, intelligence, analytics, security, and public safety. My life has been shaped by environments where extreme stress coexists, decisions matter, resources are limited, and accountability is unavoidable.
After years of frontline service, and with my wife's support, I made the decision to finally pursue my dream of medicine not as reinvention, but as a continuation. One that allows for deeper responsibility, more significant personal connections, continuity of care, and systems level impact. I am especially drawn to more rural and resource limited medicine, and specialties like Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Anesthesia & Critical Care where clinical judgement, technical skill, leadership, empathy, compassion and humility can be leveraged.
